Sunday

A day of contemplation
which led to the realisation of the nearness of Christmas
which led to feelings of mild panic
which led to an easy decision
my Christmas will be celebrated with
simplicity

And where you live in the beach! Last year we spent Christmas on a beach in Florida, it was a bit weird.
Note: This year we'll be in Minneapolis, surrounded by 5 feet of snow at least, much more befitting! So much for simplicity :-)
It is true, the more sophisticated our societies, the more we seek simplicity as an ideal. Everything seems upside down sometimes, doesn't it?

I love simplicity -
but at Christmas I need many candlelights and a bit of glitter.

Yes Pet, everthing does seem upside down at times! Because of the commercialism that goes with Christmas I especially crave for simplicity and also in my life in general. x
