You're clever things! Mine always succumbed to beasties and poor soil ... never could bring myself to poison them :-)
They are happy looking herbs! There's some things you can do to prevent unwanted visitors eating them - natural repellants. What critters are you having a problem with? x
Oh very sweet, love the teacups.
Hi Judith - your leafy sunny garden is a feast for my eyes - we woke up to another new blanket of snow and grayness today - starting to honestly yearn for spring, or at least a bit of sunshine! I love how you put the herbs in a pottage bed lined with beautiful tiles. Perhaps that will help with the mini-beasts (I'm afraid I don't want to know what kind of beasts those might be!). Happy your daughter is home again and I can imagine you are too! We have just seen my daughter's girlfriend off to Australia and she must have not only culture shock but temperature shock right now! xo Karen
Beautiful, peaceful and serene. And makes me long for summer, I'm so tired of bitter cold and snow. The teacups are so cute, love that bit of whimsy! Thanks for brightening my day, and I hope those herbs flourish!
Thank you Geoffrey! Same here...never,ever harm them or use insecticides. It's just like 'Oh well!' :)
They are doing well G except for the parsley. Something is munching away at it but not sure exactly what! Would love if you could advise on natural repellents that won't harm the mini beasts but put them off indulging. xx
Thanks Jay. The teacups are old, chipped ones that I couldn't bring myself to throw out, so I hung them on the climbing rose!
Thank you Karen. Despite some very hot days the weather here has been lovely. Anna is home safely and had a wonderful time travelling through Europe. She survived the cold and was quite excited by the snow! I hope your daughters friend enjoys her time here in Australia and it isn't too hot for her! :) xx
Thank you Coleen, so happy I brightened up your cold day! The herbs are flourishing except for the parsley..there is something little having a feast there! Hope the sun shines for you soon. x
