This sweet silhouette is on a t shirt my daughter had when she was younger.
Following a few years of being tucked away in a drawer , i have cut the print out and plan to frame it.
This picture symbolises (to me) a childhood passed...and dreaming of what is yet to come. |

Sentimental and full of love!
Frame it and then show me the place you have found for it!

I will do that Franka! x x
here are the twoo ways childhood shows us: freedom with birds or prison with the cage.what A Camus wrights in L'Etranger: "comme si les chemins familiers tracés dans les ciels d'été pouvaient mener aussi bien aux prisons qu'aux sommeils innocents."
'Yes, it was the hour when,a long time ago, I was perfectly content.
What awaited me back then was always a night of easy, dreamless sleep. And yet something had changed, since it was back to my cell, that I wait for the next day...'as if familiar paths traced in Summer skies could lead as easily to prison as to the sleep of the innocent.'
Albert Camus. The Stranger.
As always Cat, thank you. x
(I wish for all children, freedom with the birds)
What a wonderful way to enjoy and display your memories! Lovely idea,
